ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock Release changed my life and so I devoted myself to learning how to share this healing practice with others and started my training. Basically, I do what I do because I want to share the experience that I had with the work of ConTact C.A.R.E better than anything else I had tried.

How ConTact C.A.R.E changed my life…

I first came to ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock Release as a client following a brain injury (severe concussion). I was not able to successfully return to my role in pharmacy at the time and found myself having to medically retire at the age of 24. I was partaking in a lot of rehab appointments and activities to find ‘normality’ again in my day to day life and trying to build up my brain function and stamina without stirring up post-concussive symptoms all over again. I had to reserve my energy for a week if I was to attend a social gathering or I needed a nap after a visit to a café. I wasn’t sleeping properly and I had severe headaches basically 24/7. I was on medication that was causing other health issues and really at my wits end while also feeling the pressure that no one ‘got it’ because ‘you look okay’. So, yes, as tiring as this sounds to read, it was tiring to live with.

Initially, I kept putting off booking an appointment after my family kept encouraging me to try ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock Release in fear it would yet again be too much all at once. I finally committed to giving this a try and I went to my first. Now I also won’t sit here and say I understood it at first because I didn’t, yet I was ready and willing for change to happen. Within just 2 sessions I noticed changes quickly. First, it was my mental health, anxiety for what may seem a simple task for others but so overwhelming for me was incredibly reduced within a couple of treatments, then I had zero anxiety. ZERO. Second, it was my energy levels to complete fitness exercise plans including a lot of cardio and hikes. And the third, it was the physical elements of pain. I was able to finally stop my medication for headaches and get a good night’s sleep! I felt like a whole new person with that experience.
